Contact Us for Guests Works great for Guest ... and spam?

I'm thinking -  Please remove Contacts Us for Guests when registrations are 'No'

Yes, I know about this opportunity in System.
But I think when using  "No" Registration - it should automatically and Contacts Us be removed as a registration form

I would agree that you can simply disable the Contact Us form if you don't want it available. I don't think it should inherently be tied to registrations (what if you had a closed registration system but someone needed help getting logged in?)

It is easy to resolve this  - a forum for guests - with permissions after a moderator's approval. Any member with a login problem will be able to write there.

Yes, you can create alternative solutions - but that's sort of the point. With the way things function presently you have options. If the contact form automatically disabled itself when registration was disabled, the contact form is then no longer an option for your site and there's really no reason to force this.

I maintain that if you don't want the contact form to be available, you are free to simply disable it presently. I don't think we need to do this automatically based on a separate arbitrary and unrelated setting.

There is no need to disable contact form for guests. It is enough to automatically unselect guest permission in System/Contact Us
This saves an administrator option - if it wants to include a permission.
