Improvement in the notifications counters

Hi,

Regarding the upper right notifications and messenger icons.

When we have new notifications and new messages, there is a counter in red that shows up.

However, this counter simply vanishes when we click on the icon.

For instance, if we have 10 new private messages, we will see a red "10" there. When clicking on the envelope icon, this counter vanishes.

I think it should keep displaying the real number of unread messages, even after we click there.
