IPS Connect for two cloud sites - a couple of questions

I have two IPS Cloud sites.  

Has anyone used IPS Connect before?  

I have looked at it, but not really sure how it works. 

Does anything carry over?   Stats, status, member group ect...? 

Do they start at zero on the new site?

Anything to be concerned about or gotchas of the unexpected variety?

IPS Connect will be retired soon. Wait for 4.3 and its new oAuth connect function.
