Sell Affiliate Products in Store

How do I create a shop product that is an affiliate product on another site? For example if we sell books and also want to add products from other sites that when the user click "buy now" is directed to a link rather than adding it to their shopping cart.

It isn't possible as far as I know, but I'm also interested

You could probably add a page in IP.pages for this, but I would like to see a solution in IP.Commerce, that allows mixing affiliate products into store categories and have identical product layouts.

Maybe it could just change the way the add to cart button works so by adding a simple flag to the product along with an affiliate link it would just display a different text and change the link to the affiliate link. Should not be a big change.

Well, the closest thing I could find was Adriano's Classifieds application which allows you to post products at $0 with an outside link (where you would put your affiliate link to outside affiliate products). Unfortunately this doesn't do what I really need which is the ability to allow club owners and any members to get an affiliate commission for anything we sell (like paid clubs).
