Rheddy Posted September 8, 2017 Share Posted September 8, 2017 I just tried looking at the various options and it doesn;t appear you can do that. I know there used to be a function where you could prevent guests from viewing user profiles. But, if one of your members is listed on the calendar and a guest can view the calendar, then hiding birthdates kind of makes what you're trying to do meaningless. What you should do is disable the Calendar from Guests only. This can be done by doing the following: ACP > System > Application > Calendar From here, click on Calendar. When the option opens beneath Calendar, edit the permissions setting that opens up under the Calendar option and just disable Guests from viewing the Calendar. This is the only way I can think of to partially disable the feature. I don't know, but guests might be disabled by default from viewing user profiles. optrexnz Posted September 8, 2017 Author Share Posted September 8, 2017 It seems like guests can also view profiles, this has a huge impact in NZ due to the privacy laws as DOB is seen as personal information.
