Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Maya Andersen Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 What is going wrong when this template part in forumRow-template: {datetime="$lastPost['date']"} in forumRow-template Returns: <time datetime="2017-09-05T11:45:05Z" title="05-09-2017 13:45 " data-short="%d hours"> 5 hours ago </time> Instead of: <time datetime="2017-09-05T11:45:05Z" title="05-09-2017 13:45 " data-short="5 hours"> 5 hours ago </time> The forumrow-template seems to be correctly up to date with the one from the update. Also: \system\DateTime\DateTime.php is up-to-date. I cannot figure out where to look to fix it? I think the problem came after we updated to 4.2.3 yesterday.
Maya Andersen Posted September 5, 2017 Author Posted September 5, 2017 I ask here if others may have had the problem or get the problem. But okay.
Aiwa Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 Regardless, it's an issue on your site. Let IPS help out to get you fixed up.
Florent Cadet Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Same bug here I also confirm that only version 4.2.3 creates this sudden bug (no problem with 4.2.2) @Maya Has the support fixed it? EDIT : there is no problem using default language (english), it's an internationalisation issue for sure
Florent Cadet Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Fixed applying new translation pack available for my country: If anyone has this issue...
RCN Productions Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 I do as well on mobile screens it shows %d in short format. Normal screen width works well.
Mercury Forever Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 I have the same issue... in version IPS 4.2.7 Fix??
Aiwa Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Your code? Every post in here seems to point to a translation issue. Try the default English and see if it's still an issue. If it's not, your translation is wrong and needs fixed. Talk to whomever did your translation.
Aiwa Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 16 hours ago, Fred Krugger said: this issue is only version mobile... That doesn't answer my question... Are you using an unmodified English language pack? Or are you using a custom translated language? If the former, switch to the default English language and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, your custom translation has a bug in need of fixing. Alternatively, feel free to submit a ticket to IPS to have them investigate. They will be able to access your site directly and tell you if the above is the issue or if there is something else going on here. Though, based on previous posts in this topic, they all pointed to a broken custom translation.
Mercury Forever Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I have purchased the translation for Spanish, it is a package. Thank's
Daniel F Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 Just to clarify this... Yes, this issue is indeed related to custom, outdated languages. Please make sure that you're using the recent version of the file and please get in touch with the translation provider if you're still facing this issue.
