Promote Article

Is there a setting specific for articles to be pushed up to Our Picks? I am not seeing a way to do this. Is this a database option? Thanks!

Enable Our Picks. And then there's a user group setting to allow promotion, "Can promote to social media?"

Also @Michael R make sure your database templates are up to date. That is a 4.2 feature and if your templates are from previous versions... these don't include the code for the promote button on articles.

I have the 2 things I told you enabled and it shows up. There's no setting for this in the database itself.

Ah, it's probably the database then. The articles were created pre 4.2. I don't suppose there is a "click" to upgrade article template button, is there?

This might be not grayed out for you?

 

Otherwise I don't know... you could create a demo test board at IPS and copy the code over lol

Or just make new ones using the New button.

lol, open a support request, I'm sure the IPS staff can find a minute or 2 to set it up for you.

You just need to 'revert' your templates back to default.
