Andrey Camargo
Hello! We've recently moved to another server, and during the process we've upgraded the IPB version from 3.4.9 to 4.2.1. Also, yesterday we applied the upgrade to 4.2.2 (it was being recommended inside Admin CP). After all this, we ended up with our server configured and running as described below: - PHP's open_basedir configured to let writable the public_html and /tmp server's directories; - IPB's upgrader to 4.2.2 confirming that the "Upload" directory is writable (sorry, I forgot to take a screenshot of this); - Forum posts 100% accessible and working as expected; - AdminCP working as expected. - Member's Groups with the "Can upload attachments?" functionality completely disabled, except the "Administrator" and "Webmaster" groups. But, since not everything is smooth as we would like, when we try to upload new Avatars or new icons to the Groups, the IPB shows up this message: Even when we try to do the operation with the "Webmaster" account, it goes sideways. Someone can help us with some suggestion of what could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

You are best to submit a ticket in the Client Area for these kind of issues as typically it means someone will need to view your admin control panel settings to determine what is going on. For the immediate moment: For a group that attachments work, do they work in posts ? Go to Admin Control Panel > System > Files (you'll see it in the list its only about the 3rd item down) > Click "Storage Settings" button along the top > Just have a quick look at this page to see where each 'item of content' as such is being stored, or trying to be stored. It may be something as simple as one of these paths is wrong causing the error.

At the moment we have supplied the additional information requested by the support and we are waiting. Talking about this "Files" area, we have already checked it a few times and it seems to be all OK. Of course we can be wrong, so below is what we have there at the moment: Any further help will be much appreciated. Thanks again!
AndyF
They are all pointing at uploads which is OK as its indicated as writeable. I was hoping that one of them had a bad path which would be a simple quick fix. It would now be best to await the ticket response for this issue, hopefully it will not be too long.
