I was using codeguard and thought it was good till I needed to restore my website after something broke and realize that the database was totally out of date, I was missing more then a week. SecondSight Posted August 10, 2017 Share Posted August 10, 2017 Hello ! Since I use WHM/CPanel on my server, I enabled their backup system to automatically backup my account and database. I also do it myself everyday because I don't trust backup programs and so I setup a "hand-made" backup system using a simple script of my own (automatically ran by cron) with simple commands such as tar and mysqldump.
