Genestoy Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Where do I get the mobile version for 4? I have installed Suite 4 but don't see it? Thanks

You get the mobile version according to screen resolution. You can resize your browser windows slowly and see how the look changes from dektop to tablet to mobile phone
Genestoy Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 Well does not work for me, is there a setting in the ACP to enable it maybe? In my previous versions of IPB I could also select it under the themes at the bottom of the pages. Thanks

ACP -> Customization -> Themes -> <Theme Used> -> Custom -> Enable Responsiveness
clearvision Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Edit theme, go to custom tab, see if Enable responsiveness is checked.
Genestoy Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 Yes, that was already enabled, no joy, tried it on the wife's tablet too, no joy
clearvision Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Is this forum responsive in your test environment?
clearvision Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 You could try going to the support tab under system, check "something is not working" and then continue. This flushes the caches. I sometimes have to do this after upgrades as themes act strangely. Are you on the default theme?
Genestoy Posted June 10, 2017 Author Posted June 10, 2017 The test forum is running just fine, I am on a "slightly" modified default theme Just tried it on the default theme and it worked, so I wonder why not on the "slightly" modified default theme
clearvision Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 Did you flush the cache? If so you would have to look into css changes and see if you messed with a width, or other css that breaks responsiveness somehow.

Genestoy Posted June 11, 2017 Author Posted June 11, 2017 Kudos to IPS for a nice mobile app, way better than the old one my members have had to endure with 3.1.4
