Image size in posts, downsized after upgrade

After upgrading to 4.1.19.4 from 3.4.x, all the images are downsized to thumbnails to the members frustration.

I have looked everywhere, but can't find any settings to control the size of the images besides maximum size. I really like to get the pictures back to the original size.

The image size settings are here: ACP → System → Settings → Posting 

There is also a rebuild link there after making changes.

I have already found this setting, and the setting is set to 1024x768 for maximum. Still the thumbnail is shown in the forum with a size of only 200x150...

I can always try to rebuild to see if that makes any changes...

New posts have large images, but older posits have thumbnail images. What I want is to get all the old photos back to the original (large) size...

You will need to rebuild all images.

It's just an odd way of controlling the image size in posts...
