Apfelstrudel Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Hi, could you please remove the "Load more activity" button if there are no more additional entries. Some users reported this behavior as very confusing. In deed it is.
SJ77 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I would like to never have the button in the first place. I prefer auto lazy loading while scrolling

This is another example where IPS' software can feel as if it is years old rather than constantly iterated on with monthly updates. Either way, the point in the OP is undeniably correct; I would assume that displaying "Load more" when there is nothing to load is a bug, so if it isn't then I don't think you can get away with saying "works as intended".

But it is working as intended. Clicking Load More Activity simply runs a query to get more posts according to how the stream is configured so the idea of auto lazy loading is a really good one. It won't solve one of our most regular complaints since we moved from 3.4 to 4.1 and that is the inability to see at a glance how many new posts have been made since last visit or in the last 24 hours e.g. 2 pages or 6 pages. That just seems to be the nature of 4.x - if it was in 3.4 and useful, bin it and replace it with something far less useful.
