White Miku Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 I have just find this line in the IPS source code: Line 339 of \system\Http\Url\Friendly.php * @note Many places require an SEO title, so we always need to return something, so when no valid title is available we return a dash But a dash is not correct seo title too. When i'm trying to open a link like http://site.com/topic/434-/?do=getNewComment, I get error 1S160/2
Ryan Ashbrook Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 I would submit a support request for that - it sounds like a bug, which I cannot reproduce on my own install.

Works: https://invisionpower.com/forums/topic/434837-seo-titles/#comment-2670705 Doesn't work - produces 1S160/2 error code (The page you requested does not exist): https://invisionpower.com/forums/topic/434837-/#comment-2670705 But this works (notice it's 2 dashes) https://invisionpower.com/forums/topic/434837--/#comment-2670705 CV01 - the dash is a delimiter between the topic id and the topic title. The line you mentioned says that they will return a dash....which would mean 2 dashes, not one, in the url.)

So, another question: Can you make this links works when seo title not exists? OR Can you add function for automatic/manual recreation of seo titles? I'm asking this because if I'm removing seo titles of last reply in forums_forums, they not being recreated automatically. Automatic recreation works for topics, forums names, but not for data about last reply.
