Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted December 6, 20168 yr Hi there, When a user does not have permission to upload to a downloads category it still shows up in the "create" drop-down menu greyed out. It would be great if the category did not show at all since the user can't upload to it. On our site I had to change the order of the categories so the editable categories are at the top otherwise they'll have to scroll down past the greyed out categories to upload.

December 6, 20168 yr Author If there is a subcategory with upload rights, but not for the root or parent, the parent could remain greyed out since there are subs with upload rights. Currently if the parent and subs have no upload access it has a big list of greyed out that the client cant upload to.
