Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
VHL Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 It seems like several useful features within the editor were completely removed with IPS4. Is there any way to restore some of the previous features, such as raw BBcode editing and the ability to color your text with a custom color-code instead of the very limited selection given by default?

VHL Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 Is that a raw BB code mode or just the ability to remove formatting? I don't see a rawbbcode switch.

opentype Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 The post content is now stored as HTML. So, no, there is no way to switch to bb-codes anymore, because they are not there anymore. The color options can be extended easily. Either you install a more advanced CKeditor color plugin, or you create a custom button in the ACP which works ad you want it, e.g. asking for a hex value and then applying that as SPAN tag.
