Seemed to be locked in Maintenance Mode..

It's difficult to help with an issue like this without looking more closely into your site and possibly the files on server etc. It would be best of you to submit a ticket from the client area if you haven't already done so. 

In the meanwhile you could search for system log in your Admin CP (there is also a linked within the Support-section of the ACP) and see if any of the error messages there can give you any clues.
