On my site the problem was the database/articles was placed in the header widget location and not body. But issue did only happen after latest update.

This solved my issue. I removed the specific database that was erroring me, and I put it in the second widget block (from top to bottom), no more warnings.

Hmm, so I have the same issue after upgrading but for a different file. Completely default theme.

[[Template core/front/global/navBar is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

I was running the latest version before upgrading, has anyone fixed this issue yet?

I've filed a support request but would really like to fix this asap.

Cheers

what are third part app / plugins enabled on your site?

Have you check on system logs? admincp > support > on right sidebar below "System Logs"

This fixed my issue as well. Had to relocate the database widget to the body area and the error went away.
