Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
David.. Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 For some reason, only the index page on my server is slow on IPS4 also. But it's slower than your 500ms. Topics with images and content load faster than the board index.
GMIC Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Just had a look at you site. Wow it loads incredibly fast make mine seem steam driven.....
OctoDev Posted January 23, 2016 Author Posted January 23, 2016 I am using the template now, and I think it loads really fast. The only thing I could fix now was the massive theme, it's over 2MB, around 3MB. Is this default with all IPS Themes, or is it only @ehren. themes that are this heavy? Checked now, my forum is 2.3/5 MB. IPS Forum default theme loads at 1.5 MB, honestly 1MB for a custom theme isn't too bad.. but anything imo over 1mb is a lot
Ahmad E. Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 You can use pagespeed to compress images, css, js.

Yes (site is in my signature), you'll need to configure it to rewrite images, combine css,js etc. And you'll need to refresh a few times so pagespeed can do its magic.

Already did, did you check if it helped size wise? I ran it through pagespeed and still asks to compress images etc. If you say think yours better, then share config mate
