Hi,

I have upgraded my IPB forum to IPS 4.0 and now I see that the database structure and file structure have been modified to a great extent.

I am trying to configure the updated forum on my site. However it gives me error when enabling the auto login feature.

Please help.

Hi,

We are trying to implement a custom code that will help us to Single-Sign-On (SSO) login into the IPB forum.

We are unable to call a login function from outside the login class.

We are trying to call authentication function of login class from another class.

Please help us with this.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

You would need to contact the developer originally made the SSO, or consign another developer to upgrade it. The database structure was not the only thing to change, the code itself is vastly different.

This documentation on SSO in 4.x may prove useful:

Hi,

We are using IPS Community Suite as the "Slave" for single-sign-on(SSO).

We have created custom code for the single-sign-on(SSO) but we are getting following errors :

"method should not be called statically"

Also please suggest from where to call the session read method.

Please help
