Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Jordan Miller Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Whenever I try and edit any template in Themes, I receive the following error and the changes are not saved: "This theme file could not be saved" Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jordan Miller Posted November 11, 2015 Author Posted November 11, 2015 Anyone have any idea why it's doing this? It's pretty frustrating.
Greg W Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 The only times I have seen that is when my router was playing up. I presumed it meant that your connection to the server which contains your files is broken Once the connection came back, it was fine & saved ok.
Jordan Miller Posted November 12, 2015 Author Posted November 12, 2015 It's definitely not my router connection. It does this on all themes.
Greg W Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 @breatheheavy I was not saying it was your router, but in my experience, it was that the ACP could not connect to the server. Does it happen all of the time or only on occasions?

Greg W Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I knew that, I meant do you get it every time you save a theme, or only on occasions?

Greg W Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Sounds to me like you need to open a support ticket
TAMAN Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 kinda had the same problem here and if im not wrong i think it was because i deleted some css lines which its connected to the theme options this type of lines {theme="navLinkHover"}; {{if !theme.singleNavigationBar}} {{endif}} make sure you havent touched anything like this xD
Jordan Miller Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 Hmm weird. It does this on the default theme too. We didn't edit that one.
TAMAN Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 then im wrong about this have you tried to use "Something isn't working correctly." at support tab?

Greg W Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 What he means is go to the ACP, go to System & select Support at the bottom of the list. you then get a choice box which includes "Something isn't working" Select it & follow the steps
Jordan Miller Posted November 15, 2015 Author Posted November 15, 2015 It says: Some of your files have been modified. Remove any customisations from following files and then check if the problem is resolved: /home/breatheh/public_html/exhale/applications/forums/sources/Topic/Topic.php But I didn't modify this.
Jordan Miller Posted November 17, 2015 Author Posted November 17, 2015 Anyone have any other ideas why?
