does anyone know how to make the menu manager change to show that your sat on a custom url?

does anyone know how to make the menu manager change to show that your on a custom url? like it does with built in ips pages. As apps and custom urls to your own pages dont show that your on them.

For instance if im on my homepage have it look like this.

Instead of this.

For me it works on Articles, Activity and Other but Not on Main Forum, Off-Topic Forum or Videos (which is an app, guessing the developer could make that one work?)

Either way i think this would be very important to many people, because having the menu act the same way across the board should be an obvious needed thing.

I pointed something similar out on another thread about text not changing color, bolding, underlining and such in certain situations. I agree, it needs to be addressed.
