I am trying to upgrade my community to 4.0.8. All going well until I get to...

"Your community suite data or database configuration is saved in an encoding other than UTF-8. Before your site can be upgraded to the 4.0.0 Community Suite, we must convert the encoding to UTF-8."

I therefore click on "Convert Charecter Set"

"Error: Can't find file: 'downloads_fileviews' (errno: 2) File: /system/Db/Db.php Line: 177 "

Line 177 in that php file is...

     * @note    Only designed to work with methods that call query() vs prepared statements

Please help as my community is currently down

I'd have to suggest a ticket for this, you can do that in the Client Area.

Did your 3x community have IP.Downloads / Downloads installed ?
