I've never had an issue like this before and it's wrecking my head?! Hope you guys can help, Jamie
JR Network Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 I did this, it didn't do anything and it was empty anyway...
kysil Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Try to install any script from your directory. For example WordPress.
Terry - AKA Dumbledore Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Your domain doesn't appear to be working. Is this site open to the net?
JR Network Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 http://dev.jrnetwork.net/wordpress/ Works fine... Just IPB
JR Network Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 Your domain doesn't appear to be working. Is this site open to the net?Yes it is, It's created a redirect loop right after I have tried to install it.. It's weird. http://dev.jrnetwork.net/admin/install/index.php

JR Network Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 I'm trying to install it so I can develop with it, I've never had to do this on a root directory before. I can't install it over my existing live website.

Terry - AKA Dumbledore Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 http://jrnetwork.netYour server is timing out. Can you reboot the server? The connection has timed outThe server at jrnetwork.net is taking too long to respond. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Terry - AKA Dumbledore Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 There got to be a network or DNS server issue. I pinged the domain and this is the results.
JR Network Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 What is your IP Address? Chances are the firewall may have blocked you?My server is working fine, check it on a proxy. I'm running a dedicated server and I haven't had it go down in quite a while... I'm not stupid, I would know if my server was offline, the only problem I have is installing the new version of IPB.
