Email Piped to support & spam attachments

i was wondering how the suite keeps detritus from the system..

I have email account piped into the system - i looking at the uploads folder and noticed in the monthly_2015_04 folder an image clearly spam (it was all in Japanese) and also seen the same spam message with the same attachment it in my email in box for the same account. 

However the system never registered the email as support ticket. In commerce. 

Does the the cleanup cron remove this content automatically?
