I dont want to ruin your topic and i think this is an awesome design but i have a concern. Dont you think vbulletin will be a little mad that you copied their design? I'm not a lawyer but wont this be copyright infringement? Please correct me if i'm wrong.

If this question is out of place, please delete my post (at mods).

This is his skin, designed by him. It's just simply inspired by vB5 as imo, it doesn't look that bad...

Nothing is copyrighted for inspiration... now if he was to take and reuse images from their site... then yes.

Nothing is copyrighted for inspiration...

Well, it kind of is. vBulletin could not claim a copyright infringement concerning the code, if this template is created from scratch, but they could claim a copyright on the design.

And they certainly can take action against the use of their logo – a registered trademark, which is just slightly changed here.

I am not saying this is likely to happen, I am just saying this is legally possible and if they vBulletin would take action against this template, they will very likely be successful.
