Few days ago i have increase the max uploudsize limit for my server to 900 MB , three members requested to uploud some funny homade videos. They have uplouded those videos via gallery application where i have created a special "Movie" section there ONLY for high-ranking members.

When i`ve checked the servers stats i`ve seen this :

05 Mar 2013 359,806 2,158,489 33.34 GB
06 Mar 2013 344,044 2,118,698 113.04 GB
07 Mar 2013 330,540 2,023,401 1011.12 GB
08 Mar 2013 347,805 2,103,571 1647.15 GB

11 Mar 2013 126,868 779,693 61.75 GB

I`ve checked the direct link to that particulary mp4 file, being not-logged in, and i was able to play that video even if i have put restrictions per groups. Asume somehow the link was shared to other sites and everyone could watch it. There is any way to stop this and allow acces to this particulary section from Gallery to be seen only and only by chosen groups set by myself?

Your title and your post doesn't really seem to match the issue.

But with regards to permission issues, I suggest contacting IPB support or post in IP.Board forums.

Lastly, how are you accessing these "links"? I mean, who came up with these links? I'm seeing awstats in your screenshot which is often bundled with cpanel. If you click a link from within cpanel, it'll often give you a link that's routed through cpanel. So, all files will be accessible as if you were connected via ftp/ssh/etc.

I access these links by following the url from awstats and since these links are not working i`m redirected to my provider subdomain (i pasted it to a new session where i am not logged in ) /forum/uploads/gallery/category_4//gallery_2_4_10657904.mp4 and adding my board url at the begining of these files.

Not using any control panel.

Yesterday the server consumed 2.3 t bandwidth, have deleted earlier one video (biggest) and looking to deleted them all soon.

Is it the bandwidth that is your issue?

If so you cannot change that as long as your members download/watch the videos from your site. The only remedy would be to store them offsite, and use an external link.

This is the problem indeed, the bandwidth. I have removed all those videos from my board will uploud them to youtube instead :D Now everything got back to normal ,i`m consuming now around 50-100 GB per day
