Does the latest IPB support splitting of mysql reads and writes ?

Is there any tutorial for this?

You mean write to one mysql server and read from another mysql server(s)?

If yes, then there is an addon for it like Luis Mansion said.

WHM / cPanel clustering does that, It's now available so you can do it from the same machine but on different hard drives.
