Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Kellie Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 +1 this is an issue for me as well. My community complains about the lack of ease and organization of the emoticons constantly.
Breadfan Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 +1 on the original post. The management of emoticons kinda sucks as it is but I don't find it an important issue to deal with, not for now at least.
miraclesun Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Any inclination as to the emoticon management getting an overhaul in a future release?
jackflash Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 The current emoticon management method is an embarrassment to the otherwise stellar software. I don't why know IPB doesn't think that this is an issue, however, since V not only produces software but also runs a lot of their own sites, they understand that managing emoticons matters to site publishers.
Mark Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Any inclination as to the emoticon management getting an overhaul in a future release? We'll probably revise it for 4.0.
Beretta Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I am slowly tweaking how IP.Board functions but have to admit better emoticon management would be nice. +1
jackflash Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 We'll probably revise it for 4.0. I hope so, Mark. Having a lot of boards make this a lengthy job.
