Management Matt Posted November 4, 2011 Management Posted November 4, 2011 We fix the bugs as they come in. When we released 3.2.3, there were 0 editor related bugs. All the staff use it daily and we report and fix any problems if we come across them. As we keep repeating, if you spot any bugs, please post them to the tracker.

Ticket Ref: 768539 I would have thought that was a huge bug but I was more or less told, its the editor get over it? Obviously the staff in the ticket are very helpful and were not rude but don't you agree for an average forum user that is a hassle?
Management Matt Posted November 4, 2011 Management Posted November 4, 2011 What were you trying to paste? We've not heard of that issue before.
Mcardle Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 What were you trying to paste? We've not heard of that issue before. Its a little forum specific to post here if you want to know I can continue on the ticket?
CnCNet Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 As we keep repeating, if you spot any bugs, please post them to the tracker. As I keep repeating: That's great, but what about one or two ACP controls to: 1. Set the default mode (simple or advanced) for all users. 2. Disable advanced mode completely. Even copy/pasting this post hits a bug (only pasting first line).

CnCNet Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Beat that horse till its black and blue! Excuse me?
Taylor J Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Excuse me? Just because they don't reply to your suggestions doesn't mean they haven't read them so reposting them over and over won't do anything.
CnCNet Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Just because they don't reply to your suggestions doesn't mean they haven't read them so reposting them over and over won't do anything. I don't want to know whether they've read them. I want to know how they're going to fix this issue.
Aisha Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I don't want to know whether they've read them. I want to know how they're going to fix this issue. You're not worthy.
The_Welsh_One Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 At the end of the day, this is a serious issue that needs sorting ASAP. You cannot deny the fact there is a problem with so many of us reporting the issue our members are experiencing. Just get it sorted otherwise VBulletin will be getting an early xmas present.
Aisha Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 You cannot deny the fact there is a problem with so many of us reporting the issue our members are experiencing.Oh yes they can. If they can't reproduce the issue and you don't report it in the tracker then they deny it.
CnCNet Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 It's like Matt is ignoring critical questions that don't align with his own ideas.
Management Matt Posted November 8, 2011 Management Posted November 8, 2011 I'm not ignoring anything. I've mentioned several times in this topic to please report bugs to the bug tracker where they'll be fixed. The ability to use the standard editor with buttons will be in the next version of IP.Board as it has been requested frequently. I don't see the value in forcing members to use a particular editor. I certainly wouldn't like to be "told" that I have to use the standard editor. The user can switch the editor to standard and this is remembered.
