This hook will enable you to set a maximum number of posts/threads in certain forums for a 24 hours period. By default it is set to 5 posts/threads limit. This is ideal if you for example have a forum/s where the discussion/s can get a bit out of hand and you want the groups to cool off.

Anyway, after you install the MaxPosts.xml file through Manage Hooks in your Admin Panel, you can configure it at the System Settings. There you will see a new setting called NenaDice. Click on it and configure the hook to your needs. There you can enable/disable the hook, set the maximum number of posts/threads that you want to limit for 24 hours, choose the forum/s where you want to enforce it, enter your own custom error message and as last but not least you can choose which groups can bypass the limit.

I have coded an application that does the same thing but it is more advanced.



The time can also be changed. If you purchase the application, send me a message so I can pm you the edits that you need to do for that.

It is no longer working for 3.4.x mate.

I have set the limit to 10 per 24 hours

and here is how the board is being spammed.
