Very minor suggestion here, it would be nice if the Change Profile Information page of the My Settings section, where it gives the actual content of the custom profile fields for users to fill in, listed the custom profile field groups these fields were in. I have a set of custom profile fields I use for customer info (FTP/ACP/etc.) that the group name indicates they are private, but there isn't any indication of this fact on the page where people set these.

Agreed! Would really love to be able to clearly identify the different custom profile field groups from within the UCP while editing the fields!
