Renno Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Hello, I'm running the IP.Board 3.0.5 I have some issues and want to know what's wrong, because I haven't changed anything (not that I think would cause these errors anyway)Here are some problems: [#10227] You are not allowed to use the private messaging system. (when trying to go to the PM system) [#10245] You are not permitted to view member profiles. (when trying to view my or other members profile(s)) Also the Shoutbox, Side Bar, and Whos Online has disapeared completely, and even my avatar in the top right hand side. Please can anyone tell me if there's a problem on their side of mine and when it'll be resolved, or how I can fix this? Thanks

Renno Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 Says I cannot post a topic, I just made this account as I'm not at home. Can someone just tellme if it's my fault or an error on someone eleses (IP.Board?) side?
dee1 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 This is probably too simple a solution, but when I get these questions om my own forum I respond with,"Are you sure you're logged in? and "did you refresh your page?" It usually solves the problem. Good luck! Dee :)

Renno Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 OK, I'll do so when at home. Can you just answer this: Is this an error on my side or IP.Boards side? Thank you.
Wolfie Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Try contacting IPS support with your problems. It's your best solution right now.
Renno Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 Can anybody just answer the question: Is this a problem on my side or IP.Boards? Thanks again...
Michael Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 No, they cannot answer the question, this forum is not for IP.Board support questions. If you need technical assistance, you need to follow the steps listed in the message at the top of the page.Topic Closed
