Multiple forums on one chat room

Do you have the ability of combining a single chat room for 4 forums? Say we have 4 sites that all want to use the same chat room... is this doable?

While at a technical level we're not (at this point) validating the URL the key comes from, you will run into some other glitches. Specifically, if you have 2 users online from one forum, and 2 from another forum, the usernames won't show up properly on each forum.

i.e. I frequently login locally using the same key we use on the company forums here. To everyone on the company forums it's a "blank user" because there's no user id 1 here to match up (not that that would actually match up to me anyways).

This perhaps would be good for future versions as it'd make our chat busier to have chatters from both sites.

There are many technical limitations to doing this as the chat uses both your local IPB's code and our remote servers to sort out who is who.
