IPB 3.0 persistence layer?

hallo

i'm sorry i couldnt get the search to answer this question.

will ipb 3.0 use a persistence framework or be based on a php framework? i plan getting started to convert my components for ipb 3.0 and wonder if its still more manual approach or if there are fundamental changes.

there are quite some options (propel, doctrine) or (cakePHP, zend, symfony). I wonder if one was chosen and which one - or what the way will be :-)

Massive changes.

They use their own framework, alot of docs will be ready for the Final Release

will the api change significantly until the first release candidate? or is the latest beta kinda close to rc1?

The API will not change much between now and RC (or final). The bulk of the underlying code is done, minus bug fixes.
