Fast reply - why is my signature added by default

Hi,
My apologies if this has already been discussed, but I've noticed when using the Fast Reply to reply to a topic in IPB3.0, my signature is added automatically.

The option to decide if I wanted to Enable Signature in IPB2.x was very useful, as it prevented topics from containing too many signatures and looking messy.
If I don't want my signature appearing more than once in a fast reply topic in IPB3.0, I have to go to Edit, then switch to the Full Editor, and then untick the Enable signature box, which I think is time consuming and over complicated.

The Enable Smilies checkbox in IPB2.x always seemed superfluous, but Enable email notification of replies and Enable Signature were very handy. May I ask why they were removed?

The feature is still in the code, but it's a skin bug, reported in the tracker. The check box is missing, the default is 'Signature On' and because you cannot see it, you cannot change it. :)

Are you sure? I thought that fast reply was supposed to not have anymore those checkboxes.. :huh:
