Better sub-forum display

Either add an option to show different ways to show sub-forums on the index or make it so the thread link on the right of the index shows where the last post was made. In addition to date, thread title, and user.

As in set how many to show per row? If so, +1

ya maybe option for showing subforums as 2 or 3 in a row, vertically/horizontally etc.
And also option to show no of posts in each subforum.

I agree. I actually use a mod to do this and it even shows you which forums have new posts in them too so you're not searching. :) Its really nice.

I agree. I actually use a mod to do this and it even shows you which forums have new posts in them too so you're not searching.

The small icons next to the sub-forum links? Is there a way you could link to such a mod (if it's custom, then sorry for asking).

It just would be nice if IPB would have more control on making them easier to browse and view.

If I remember right this is the mod I used:

Mind you I modified it a bit to change the image icons as it uses the message ones and so I changed it to some ones I modified to be a bit smaller then the ones on the index and I also modified the amount of columns from the default two to three.
