How to EASILY Ban someone?

I had made a suggestion on the 'what new feature would you like to see for IPB 3.0' and made a recommendation similar to your Mod or close enough in description.

This is really needed as i stated on the other topic, many Administrators or owners cannot be online all the time and wish to have the Super Mods to be able to have the power and means to ban and is easy to work with and with no Admin CP access, cause the current Mod preview, restrictions on profile etc; isn't easy for many to learn or understand nor does it provide a banning.

On other brand forums, normal Mods have the ability to ban on the spot, why can't the creators of the best forums IPB, make this switch? So Super Mods at least be able to do what an Administrator can do, and is to ban.

Highly recommended this feature be added to future IPB versions. :unsure:

That's fantastic, thanks! I will install it once the download has been approved here. It would be nice to see these tools standard as part of IPB 3.0. I actually had to ban a more subtle spammer this morning (it wasn't obvious he was spamming initially until I went and looked on the net at all the other forums he joined) and had to go into the Admin panel to do all the dirty work. :)
