The Clash
I remember back in 2.2 on the Admin tab (first page) under the IPB version there was a PHP info link. I know I could just write "<? phpinfo(); ?>" and see it, but still, it'd be nice to have for development reasons......Or, is it there and I'm just blind? Alex
Or if you click the IP.Board version link in the dashboard, it also takes you there :)
The Clash
Thanks. Let me change the subject of this topic to move the "Diagnostics" group from the Support tab to the Admin tab, as it really has nothing to do with getting Support from IPS. bfarber
phpinfo really has nothing to do with Administering your board either - it is a diagnostic tool, and thus belongs on the diagnostics page.
The Clash
I'm not saying move it from the diagnostics group. I'm saying move the Diagnostics group altogether, as it really has nothing to do with getting help at all (unless you guys ask to duplicate bugs or something - other than that, IPB is the same software). bfarber
Diagnostics is a function of Help & Support if you ask me - not administering your site.
.Ryan
Yeah his post makes no sense. If you want it moved all you have to do is edit the PHP page yourself and poof it goes away to where ever you move it.
