I like it , but think it would look better if the quote buttons etc were the same colour as the darker Blue/Grey and it might be me but I think it just changed again

I like them both. ;)
I have been dying for some time to have a simple to change skin for color purposes, as I have a lot of forums where people like different looks, in color, if nothing else.

I've yet to see how this skin makes things "easier". All that has been mentioned is images being dumbed down. I assume, bad thing, that IPS did not change classes within the templates because that would make it hard to try and maintain 2 master template sets for each IPB distribution (IPB only supporting 1 master). Which means that the css is basically the same as the default. Seems a bit silly to make template changes since which ever one isn't the direct decedent of the master would show "revert" in any template bits that were edited. If this new one isn't the default, and changes were made to the templates, wouldn't it cause more confusion than ease overall? :S

Edit: or does IPB 2.3 allow for multiple master templates?

This is a skin like any other skin - it will show revert for changed templates, and you can delete it from the ACP entirely if you wish.

I like the new skin. It seems much more professional than the old blue one... Although it wouldn't hurt to use a tad more color in it.

I very much like it... by doing away with the gradients and what not, it will most definitely be easier to skin as it should be nothing more than changing colors via the CSS portion. Easy/peasy find/replace :)

As for the rest of the graphics/buttons, not hard to change them if you have even a little bit of "skillz" with PS or any other graphics software.

Good job to all involved.

The new skin is ok. I just prefer this old blue one ... it's like an old pair of shoes (comfy).

Yes. Old blue looks like more professional.

New skin is not bad, it seems it's faster.

Even though I revert back to blue.

I like it. The people who prefer the older skin I think is largely a case of nostalgia... We like what we're used to, sudden changes are often to radical. I think we should all give the new skin some time, we'll get used to it just like we did with the old one.
