JavaGenius
Dear allI have one feature that I hope to find in IPB. Which is the ability of the root admin to reserve a set of "Display names" and "login names" ... so no body can register a new membership with these names.I hope to hear an answer from IPB developers...Best Regards

bfarber
Or pre-register the accounts...why save the names and not just pre-register the entire account?
stobbo
This is already in IPB, just add names to the ban filters.
JavaGenius
It is difficult to preregister them , suppose I want to reserve 10 or more names... I have to have 10 e-mails and to activate 10 times...Thanks stobbo: but, can I really put unregistered names in the ban filter. Or it is only for prerigestered names? stobbo
I used it to stop people registering names in 1.3, so I guess it still works in 2.2.

bfarber
The ban filter indeed will not let you register a name that is added to it. This will work as well, however you'll probably need to remove it from the ban filter when you finally want to allow use of it.
