Feature Request: Disable Internal Emailing Completely

I love that IPB has a rich feature set. However, I wish it was easier to turn certain features off. For my intranet-based implementation, I have no need for the built-in emailing system, and there doesn't seem to be any way to disable it. I'd like to be able to just get rid of it completely - all the members of my forum are on the same internal Novell GroupWise email system and I don't want them to start messaging one another through the forum.

If you mean the PM system, just disable every usergroup from using it - it's in the management --> manage user groups section of your admin cp :)

He means the email form feature not Private Messages.

You can do the same with emails as Professor P suggests with PM's -- same place.

How do you know this?

From what I read, I would assume he meant the Personal Messaging system.

Surely if anyone was talking about PM's then they'd call them by there name not Email.

if it says email then he means email

I would like to turn off the subscription feature sometimes. "Stop spamming me!" messages find their way to my inbox.
