Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
John__ Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Hi,We currently have 2 customer accounts on Invision with various boards and other adds ons registered in them. its getting annoying having stuff split over 2 accounts so is it possible for you to put everything under one account? If so who do I contact. Thanks
Working4computers Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 The Sales Department :)sales@invisionpower.com
Watty Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Or submit a ticket via the client area. If both accounts are under one name, it shouldn't be too difficult - but I could be wrong.
Mark Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 You could always transfer the licenses ;) Just submit a ticket
stobbo Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 It would be easier to transfer license however if you wish to merge the account please email sales[at]invisionpower.com or open a ticket through the client center.Stobbo
Keith J. Kacin Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 We can merge customer accounts. :)Just submit a ticket.
John__ Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Sent a ticket but 3 days later no reply.Ticket #330463
stobbo Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Hello,Please bear with IPS, they have been out of the office for a few days due to the festive holiday. Also we have had a major IP.Board Release. This has resulted in a backlog of tickets.Stobbo
Management Charles Posted December 30, 2006 Management Posted December 30, 2006 There are far fewer staff who handle non-technical requests and they do not work outside normal business hours. Someone from customer service will handle your request soon.
John__ Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 5 days... close to 6U'd think the amount of money I've spent on the several licences I have would mean id atleast get a reply in a reasonable time scale....and not even an apology its taking so long from the "President"Basic CS techniques clearly lacking

John__ Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I was not asking for your opinion. My complaint is directed to IPS...Just added it up... in 2006 we spent $280 with IPS. We already have plans to spend more on extra blogs and gallery's this month. Might not seem much to you but its quite a lot for our company to spend on forum software. We expect some basic CS... an apology would of been fine.
Brandon C Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 John, if your complaint is directed with IPS in such a urgent matter, you really should give them a call tomorrow at 1-800-901-5491 to talk with them.
stobbo Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 You should try Skype Out. It is quite cheap for overseas calls :)
Management Charles Posted January 2, 2007 Management Posted January 2, 2007 While I am sorry your issue is taking some time, please understand that we only have technical support staff in our ticket system outside business hours. The billing and account team that would handle a merge account request such as yours only works during normal business hours.
