Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
ZeRoRaVeN Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I know that legally IPB is protected by the legal agreement since the addition of the EULA to the installer is really just a heads up and getting past it won't let you get past the legal restrictions but...You used javascript to check whether or not it is checked. No non-javascript checks are made. Simply turn off javascript and you're past it without checking I agree. >_>Just a small quirk really.
Luke Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I don't think it really matters. Plus you have to agree to it before you download it in the first place.
bfarber Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 It's a formality. Yes you can get past it, but you're bound by it regardless of whether you enable or disable javascript in your browser. :)
Jaggi Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 yea think just installing is basically say you agree.
Mark Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 They could change the text on the button to 'I Agree'....
