bfarber Posted December 1, 2006 Share Posted December 1, 2006 You do not need xml functions - you can set lite_parser to 1 in class_xml.php. :)And again, we use hundreds of functions...it is near impossible to check every function we use. That is better left on a case-by-case support basis. Honestly, in the time I've worked here, I've had only one ticket regarding a disabled function that was necessary (opendir) outside of GD support (which IPB does not absolutely require). GerryMc Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Brandon just a query mate, with portals becoming much more popular, are IPB staff considring adding one to their IPB Board at some time, all I have seen are very difficult for the novice or the old timer like me trying to be young again to get their head round except for Unreal Portal which is pretty simple to use however it now has lost its panache since upgrading to 2.2 it has now become just as bad as the others.
