Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
.KX Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I can't believe I've been the only one to notice this.
Michael Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 It's not happening to me. Try doing a Ctrl + F5.
Luke Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I noticed that too and reported it as a bug.... But then it stopped happening to me. Try clearing your cache?
.KX Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 No, no, no. It only happens for about 0.5 - 1 second then it goes to how it should be, but still - it shouldn't be happening.
arcalypse Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Is the problem that the tabs close in a certain amount of seconds, I am sorry to sound noobish, but I am not quite clear on what the issue is. If that is the problem do as Luke said and clear your cache.
bfarber Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I can't reproduce. And by the way, the things in your signature likely won't be addressed in 2.2 I must say. :) Though, the sidebar not appearing, is on purpose - there just isn't enough room for it in certain areas.
.KX Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Try using Firefox 2.0 RC3. Just keep clicking between the two. If you'd point me in the way of some software then I can take a video, though are print screens not proof enough!?Also it only happens with those two tabs (as far as I am aware).
.Sephiroth. Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I can't reproduce either.. I used both FireFox 2 and Opera 9.http://users.sephiroth.ws/Sephiroth/IPS.wmv <- In Opera 9, ~1.2MBhttp://users.sephiroth.ws/Sephiroth/IPSTWO.wmv <- In FireFox 2, ~1.2MB

An RC version of a browser isn't something we can fully support.

Brandon C Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Brandon:FF 2.0 Final and RC3 are supposed to be identical. I did not have to update anything. That's correct.
.KX Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Shouldn't css be cached? Or are you talking about rendering lag?
Keven Fox Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 OT: Odd, viewing the newest post brought me to the Fast Reply again and couldn't see Anubis' post. That old bug back?
