I noticed that too and reported it as a bug.... But then it stopped happening to me. Try clearing your cache?

No, no, no. It only happens for about 0.5 - 1 second then it goes to how it should be, but still - it shouldn't be happening.

Is the problem that the tabs close in a certain amount of seconds, I am sorry to sound noobish, but I am not quite clear on what the issue is. If that is the problem do as Luke said and clear your cache.

And by the way, the things in your signature likely won't be addressed in 2.2 I must say. :) Though, the sidebar not appearing, is on purpose - there just isn't enough room for it in certain areas.

Try using Firefox 2.0 RC3. Just keep clicking between the two.

I can't reproduce either.. I used both FireFox 2 and Opera 9.

Why not upgrade to FF 2.0 final - I heard it was released. An RC version of a browser isn't something we can fully support.
