or you gain access to IPSB according to what you have bought as a customer ?


If you have an active IPG and/or ICB license, you gain access to their respective forums...

In order to have unrestricted access to IPS Beyond you must have an active support license. :)

My only criticism about having to have an active support license, is that its not even official support, it has a disclaimer at the top saying that for official support you can always submit a ticket. Sure its worth having an active license but they should make it clear that ipsbeyond is official support.

I can see now, that some resource sites may start to charge entry for access, but something that is lower than $30. To make people do it all they would need as an extra would be staff willing to perform upgrades and installs for people.

However those people would not have access to our client center for official support. In the end it's up to the customer, however IPS Beyond is only one benefit of having an active support license.

IPS Beyond != Customer Forums



The customer forums were the ones present on these forums here before they were re-organised. As they're no longer in existance, there's nothing here to give access to anymore.


I know :P although technically they are forums for customers / customer forums ;)

Alternate contacts are now supported. You can allow up to 3 of your alternate contacts access to IPS Beyond - they will have access to the sections you have granted them access to in the client center. :)

In my situaution I am locked out of the Feedback forum, do not have access to PMs, and when I tried to report an error on the forums, the email bounced back.

The bounce-back error is as follows:
brandon@invisionpower.com

retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period

I submitted a ticket before thinking to come check here. What is the correct way to notify the relevant folks when IPS Beyond takes a dive? I had the same issues as sunrisecc when trying to make contact at IPS Beyond.
