This error means you are missing at least 1 file on your new server: /home/mysite/public_html/mysite/forums/system/Http/Url/Friendly.php.
Verify the file exists and has the proper permissions, and if it doesn't, copy it from the old server. You might have more missing though, copying over again all the files would be a good idea. Or, if you are on version 4.7.7, download a new zip file with all the suite files from your client area and upload the files directly from it.
The forum was on 4.76 when I moved it. Would copying the files over from 4.77 download still work?

Really need some guidance here. Is there a way to reset the admin part? I have verified that all the identical files from the old host are on the new one using the same file path etc.

You might want to post in the official support forum. This forum is more about peer to peer assistance in configuring your server. This sounds like you're having support issue and need staff help.

Ok I posted there.

Hello all in dire need of some assistance.
Move my invision board to a new host. The forum seems to be working fine. I am able to log in etc.
When I go to log into the admin I get the error below in the console. Any ideas how to fix this?
I had posted this here but they suggested I should post here.

Try it - put this link in the address bar and enter.
https://your site/admin/?app=core&module=support&controller=support&_new=1
This will probably load a normal support page
Unfortunately it still displays the error. I even went ahead and uploaded the files from the old host for the admin folder again.

Do you have a constants.php file in the root of your install?
If YES is it a copy of the one from your other site?
if YES, then delete it.
I deleted it. Same result when I log into the admin console. I had to rename my admin directory back to default after I removed that file.

It meets the requirements, even has MYSQL 5.7 (one of the reasons for moving to new host) I'm uploading the files again to make sure nothing was missed.
Good news is I got it uploaded. The forum is working. I'm getting a 500 error from Cpanel about port 443 when trying to go to the admin link.

OK. Let's go to the basics. Have you uploaded the IPS compatibility script to make sure the new host meets the requirements? Since you said you're not changing domain names, have you confirmed your original URL is properly routed to your new host's DNS?

Anyone? stuck here.

Fixed the error above however after all the files have been upload and the database back up added it won't launch the forum at all. Gives a ERR_TIMED_OUT message on Edge, Chrome and Firefox browsers.
Can a fresh install be done, add all the applications and plugins that were on the original board etc. Then import that database backup to get this to work. Running out of ideas on what is needed here to make this work? 🤔

Great! Let us know how you go once everything is up and running on the new host.
Copied the files over did the database stuff. Forum doesn't launch and this is in the error logs numerous times.
Uncaught Error: Failed opening required 'init.php' (include_path='.:/opt/cpanel/ea-php80/root/usr/share/pear')

Are you still using the same version (2.x) of Invision Community at the new host or are you importing everything to a newer/latest version (4.7.7)?
My advice would be to bring everything over as is, and then perform an upgrade of Invision Community if that is your intention.
Be sure to create a backup though in case things go pear-shaped. We do not provide support for server-side issues so I can only provide limited assistance, but others in the community are free to lend their hand. If you are unsure on things, I would recommend getting in touch with your new host to see if they can help you bring things over with as little issues as possible.
Forum is on 4.76. I've just had it active since version 2.x era. I'm uploading everything to be safe.

Did you follow all of the steps that were provided on the last post in the topic?
Working on that part. Question if my forum has been around since IPB 2.x days are there files/folders that I can skip moving? or should I just move it all?

In your Client Area? You should be able to amend the URL after you have moved the community over to the new host. Have a read through this guide to give you a better understanding on the finer details.
Yes, and the URL in the `conf_global.php` file if that is changing too.
When I do step 3 on the thread you linked, restoring the database file I exported from the old phpmyadmin I get this error.

Hi @eliteone,
This was actually brought up recently and I believe has been answered quite well in another topic.
If you still have issues after following these steps though, please let us know.
Looks promising. The domain isn't changing for me however. Assume then just change the database name etc in the config file?

Quick question, I'm moving to a new webhost. Is the best course of action to upload install files, do a new install, and then import a database backup the best route or should I be copying over the forum files from the old host to the new host and then import a database backup?

What happens if you choose the option to run the background tasks manually?
It eventually displays a page cannot be displayed.
I took the advice of restoring a backup.

So are these progress bars moving at all? The 28.9% at the top suggest that something is happening.
It hasn't moved for a few days.

I wouldnt say that is normal, no. Especially as the system there states its actually moved over 25% of your downloads files. I would probably suggestion reverting to the backup taken before this. Unfortunately, using an alternative storage method to that which is supported natively, there isnt much further advice we can provide
Unfortunately all the posts made since then would be lost. 😞

You called it. It worked after running the upgrade per your post. Thanks! 😎
