    USCJ Digital got a reaction from Keith Clark in 4.4 Terms & Privacy Policy settings image BUG
    This is a known issue that also affects images loading in calendar events, the announcements listing in the ModeratorCP (although the announcements themselves appear correctly!), and a few other places.
    I submitted a ticket about a week ago, and was told that they hope to resolve this in 4.4.2.
    The issue also impacts file icons (such as PDF/Word) not displaying correctly, and also causes links within your site to be shown as plain links vs. nice boxes with a content teaser. So, the cold comfort is - it's not just you. The good news is, a fix is on the way!

    I sent another follow-up email to GIPHY support this morning, and lo-and-behold ... they approved the key!
    They did ask that I send them a video post-approval, but they approved the key without the video in hand first.
    So, no pun intended - some persistence may be key if you get stalled ...
    With the key approved, setup on Invision took about 90 seconds, including placing the control on the editor where I wanted it ...

    Well I pulled the trigger and I’m LOVING IT!!
    This is my favorite new feature by far! Since my site primarily operates as an image board this is a tremendous windfall for us!! Wooo! 🥳
    Thanks IPB!

    You should submit a ticket if you get a "-200" error. Usually this means the upload failed for some reason (i.e. timeout on the server) however the software is designed to supply a better message.

    USCJ Digital got a reaction from opentype in Fonts for Emails
    In case anyone is curious about this ... I found the fix if you are using Office 2013:
    Open WORD File > Options > Advanced Options Under the 'General' category, click on 'Web Options' Click on the "Fonts" tab Make sure 'English/Western European ...' is selected Change the 'Proportional Font' from Times New Roman to Arial (or whatever you want). That is totally crazy, and clearly something very wrong with how Office/Outlook 2013 displays fonts in certain scenarios - but as the saying goes, Google is your friend.
    And yup, changing the settings in WORD makes the display in Outlook 'correct.' That said, however, the fonts are being coded by Invision in a way that there seems to be a 'break' in formatting between the upper part and lower part of the email notification (as per the screen shot which shows the transition to Times New Roman) ... but it's not in all cases.
    Of course, none of this will make a difference for any of our users using Outlook 2013, because there is no way that most of them are going to bother with this. But definitely an Office/Outlook 2013 issue!

    USCJ Digital reacted to opentype in Fonts for Emails
    There might be a setting somewhere for the fallbacks (“serif”, “sans-serif”, “monspace” …) and maybe Times New Roman is chosen there as a local default for “sans-serif”. Or it’s just a bug and the app doesn’t read the font stack properly. Microsoft Office apps are not really known for proper typography.

    Is there a way to expand the Calendar Stream, so that it not only shows the one month that is selected, but maybe X number of events instead?
    I'd like this for both the calendar and the club calendar if possible

    It'll be good if the members have the option to choose the time format they want and not the format we choose for everyone, such as 24 or 12 hours or just am/pm.
    this options is a basic setting in allot of other forum softwares, including even the discontinued one i used before switched to IPB almost 13 years ago, and i still get requests for this from my members

    USCJ Digital got a reaction from kmk in Navigation Issue: Club Tabs on a Mobile Device
    So, there is indeed a 'bug' ... which should be resolved in the next platform update. In the meantime, if you encounter the same issue, you can temporarily add this to your custom.css (as per Invision support):
    @media screen and (max-width: 767px) {
            #elClubControls li.ipsPos_left {
                float: none;
            }
    }

    USCJ Digital reacted to bfarber in Lazyloading of post attachments in 4.4.1 not working
    It should be noted that the missing images right now are ONLY in very select specific places. They obviously work fine in areas like the forums and Gallery, but are not working correctly in calendar events and forum descriptions (as well as a few other fairly niche areas that you are not likely to encounter issues with).
    In other words, lazy loading isn't broken across the board, which is where my recommendation stems from. As well as the fact that 4.4.2 is already available for beta testing and will be released before long, so we're not looking at a month or two before the fix is generally available.

    Personally, I probably would not disable lazy loading for the mean time. You could certainly do so, but if you rebuild when you turn it off and again when you turn it on, that's a lot of extra processing for your server for a small(-ish) bug in the interim. Ultimately it's up to you though to determine what's important for your site.

    USCJ Digital reacted to Black Tiger in Downloads: Category images option and latest files block
    Hello.
    I'm really missing these in the current Downloads addon.

    1.) A block for displaying the last xx newest files from downloads which can be used for page builder.
    2.) An option so you can put different images for different download category's, like this:

    By the way... it would also be nice if there were a setting that the category page could be displayed by default. Now you can only to this via the menu manager.
