  1. No, but lookie here.. it's 2016 and and the price is stil 20.00GBP with Lifetime updates And at the current exchange rate, that's $24.40USD at 6:46AM Central time on 10/13/2016. And it's a nice add-on. I'd just l like to see a more reasonable 6 month renewal fee than almost 2/3's the original purchase price.
  2. Really? XenForo has had that add-on since 2012, and I believe it is similar to one that was out for vB prior to that. PostRatings is one of the most sought after style add-ons for other scripts (hell, look at how long it to IPS to get similar to an add-on). And I'm fairly familiar with best 3 of them. I have licensed Burning Board, IPS and XenForo sites and I am regular participant on all their support boards. It's long overdue that IPS got a similar add-on. I guess you think because it "costs more" it's always better. There is a word for folks like that used by sales people. It's called a sucker.
  3. I do.. as well as IPS. The XF add-on is 20GBP (about $25 USD) one time fee with life-time upgrades (single major version). I like the thought of the add-on, but am on the fence over the price and the $20 a year "renewal" terms.
  4. It's not the plugin itself per-se that is slowing it down (nor the number of rules), but the fact that the code has to be decrypted before it is ran. This will be especially telling on a shared server. Not so much on a VPS or a dedicated (unless they are overloaded) - and even less so if using an HTTP server like nginx or LiteSpeed (or OpenLiteSpeed) - which are a tad more efficient in most cases than Apache. The different ways of "processing" php in Apache are not as efficient as with OLS/LS/nginx from my experience.
