This is from promoted content on your site. (when someone clicks the promote button at the top of the topic). You can manage these by clicking your name on the front end of your site, then clicking "Manage promoted items"

You would download the files from your client area by selecting your license, then clicking the download button in the top right

There isnt really a setting for download of attachments in that area. It would be assumed if someone can see the download, they can see anything in the description. Anything outside of the description you should add to the download itself

Actually you could do this by using products rather than subscriptions.
Create a product with a recurring payment In the "Benefits" section, click to create a license key
When someone purchases, they will then be given a license key for that purchase. This will show under their purchase within their client area on the front end (Store>Manage Purchases, Click the purchase)
Outside the software, you can then check that license key with the following URL (replacing the relevant parts with your URL), and after enabling the API for this (see the guide below)

This will give a json response with the license details if the key is correct. See the following guide for more information

The only way in which to switch off that would be to switch off post before register. You can do this within System->Settings->Posting
As far as changing email settings, you can to this in System->Settings->Email Settings

Unfortunately, we do not allow the transfer of licenses, as per EULA. You can sell the site content of course, but they would need their own license

No, you wouldnt have to do anything on your end. It submits to google and bing

Ah, the issue there is the htaccess you have in place. You would need to ensure any connections to the following location are whitelisted from any IP or password authentication
/index.php?app=core&module=system&controller=marketplace

On pages database entries, you need to go to the fields and make sure you can see "Publish date". It then works from the same setting in the moderator area that was mentioned above. Blog entries also work of that setting. You can see it then at the bottom when you submit an entry

You cant do this by content, but you can do this by group. So if you edit any group, you will see on the Content tab, under the Editing section, there is an "Edit time restriction" setting, which I believe is what you are looking for

You couldn't just switch it out. You would need to refund, then invoice. So I would do it in the following manner
Click "Cancel/Refund" on the original item, so that its refunded, they are returned to their original group etc, as normal. When asked, set it to add to credit rather than refund Create a new invoice under that account with the new item, and save Click to view the invoice, and select "Charge to account credit"

You would need to add it to your templates somewhere. There are blocks, but only with the pages application that you dont currently have. So adding it manually to your theme would be the only option there
